This project is derived from a class assignment "Translation". In Chinese language, there are four tones to express all range of emotions, and therefore all complexities of mind is simplified into these four tones. Poetry, being the most concise literary tool of expression, tend to use the least amount of words to set up most layers of complexity. Therefore, I want to use these four tones to present a visual translation of the poetries all written by one poet. All the characters in the poem are replaced by the four tones, and this collection of poetry is ordered chronologically.
